Yesterday at night I HV technician jobs the tank completely. I have so far lifted the lid and jacked up that everything was pretty accessible. The whole unnecessary parts have I expanded, the outputs of the HV transformer directly without going to the HV bushings soldered. The outputs were carried out earlier relay on HV. These parts have a contact opening distance of 3 cm - and the oil HV diode(n) (one of 2) then times a 555 vibrator + Pollin on a weak PC power supply to 12V-> first light as you can see are the spark extremely thick and bright. Didn't want to imagine such as that when facing the same power + IGBT brick looks... Na sounds but promising I want but see how promising it thus only not too little is let you a video when the driver for my cm600 finished bricks is there is time ^ ^ btw. If you have no use for the two small transformers or even for one of the thick, then I would report now ever interest I don't have much time, since I have just no Internet (no idea why) and me now over the science network here logged in I.
The small transformers are most certainly the Filamenttrafos. Adjust the tension for the shark tongues of X-ray tubes available. Each of the two HV transformer has a lower nuclear volume than in my tanks. This confirms the assumption that the device only very briefly kW can provide the performance of over 20 (seconds-way probably). I guess the performance in continuous operation now to about 3-5 kW (I would not hunt through personally but more than 4 kW, since any other parts do not tolerate this).
Since there are Yes 2 transformers I could switch so the primary windings of this in series and then build a dual ZVS or!
I see no advantage, because it can no longer used the multiplier. A voltage of 100 kV is worth more than an oversized Zeilentrafoschaltung definitely multiples. I would so leave everything and try to get it up and running. The HV testing is actually already perfect, does you the high input voltage, which prepared is a trouble in the construction of a control.
